Info:Welcome to the course!
Priya guides you through the Hanuman Chalisa in 8 chapters of stories, mudras, and activities, so the chant stays with you for life.
Pranams!
I am Priya, your storytelling companion for learning the Hanuman Chalisa. I learnt this wonderful chant when I was 10 years old. Over time I have loved exploring Hanuman’s stories and the meaning of each word in it. The chant is written in Awadhi, an ancient Indian language and the great-grandfather of Hindi. I had the best time making this course, and I think you are going to love it too.
What you will do
We are so happy you have joined us! You learn the verses with dance mudras, and you get to know Hanuman through stories and activities: his personality, his life, and the lessons he teaches. And we have a great time doing it.
What’s included
Here is how the course works:
- The course has 8 chapters. After this introduction, the opening dohas make up one chapter, and each set of 8 chaupais makes up one of the next five. The final chapter is the full Hanuman Chalisa chant, for you to watch again and again until you know it by heart!
- You learn each doha and chaupai with mudras, which make it easier to remember.
- Each chapter also has stories of Hanuman, activities, and task sheets.
